I tried printing two different web pages, and none of the text showed up at all. What a waste of time.

I had the same problem in Widows 7 with Firefox updated to 13.0. Printpdf became to provide only images and not text at all. I did next - just click right button on the shortcut of the Firefox 13.0 and select properties, there switch on checkbox which allows running the Firefox in the mode of compatibility with Windows XP. Printpdf began print all text and images as expected. It was good for me hope to you too.
